Capitol Web Design has been providing web design and development services to small businesses and non-profits in Northwest Indiana since 2003.  Our goal has always been to develop strong relationships with our clients in order to provide them sound advice and anticipate needs.

Meet the Staff

Lisa Fox – Owner
Lisa began learning HTML code in 2001 as a hobby.  After a career in accounting as a Financial Administrator for an international IT company, she decided to take her newly acquired skills and form a web development company that focused on small businesses and non-profits.  Lisa quickly expanded her knowledge into the fields of graphic design, databases, PHP, WordPress and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).  Always ready to learn more, Lisa is currently learning about social media and it’s impact on businesses.

When not working, Lisa keeps herelf busy reading Harry Potter books, listening to John Mayer and volunteering for the National Autism Association of Northwest Indiana.

Robert Fox, P.E.  – Engineer
Robert is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He earned his Master Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, with an emphasis on power systems.  At Capitol Web Design, Robert is responsible for building custom web applications for our clients.

In his free time, Robert likes to plan his next vacation to Disney World and enjoys watching basketball and the Cubs.

Joan Drummond – Copywriter
Joan is a graduate of University of Illinois where she majored in Journalism.  Throughout her career she has held several positions including reporter,  anchor, field producer and producer at CNN, ABC and Fox News Channel.  She is currently a freelance copywriter with an emphasis on technical writing.
